In English, verbs have different tenses. We need to use different tenses of verbs to describe actions that happen at different time.
動詞有不同的時態，我們在形容於不同時間發生的動作時，需要用不同時態的動詞。

(1) When the action we are talking about is what we usually do, we use "Simple Present Tense".

Dad always(總是) works until midnight.
The twins often(時常) come to school late.

形容一個道理或真理時，我們也會用「簡單現在式」。

(3) We need to add "s" or "es" at the end of the verb in "Simple Present Tense" when the subject of the sentence is in "third person singular" form, i.e. he, she, it
如果句子中的主語是第三人稱 (即 he, she, it 等), 當使用「簡單現在式」時，我們要在動詞最尾加上 "s" 或 "es"。
For example 例如：
My sister goes to the library every day.

(4) We do not need to add "s" or "es" at the end of the verb if the subject is not in "third person singular form", i.e. I, we, you, they.
如果句子中的主詞不是第三人稱 (即 I, we, you, they)，我們便不需要在動詞最尾加上 "s" 或 "es"。
